CAN YOU USE YOUR OWN SOLICITOR?
Yes, however, instructing your own chosen solicitor can prove to be more costly, more time consuming, and also more stressful for you, as you will likely spend unnecessary time chasing updates, and waiting on responses.
Using one of our solicitor contacts, means you will only ever need to call your mortgage adviser, for a full update on every aspect of your mortgage journey. SURVEYS – PEACE OF MIND
Whether you are remortgaging or buying a property, a basic mortgage valuation is a mandatory requirement by the lender. However in some cases (more likely to be when buying a new property) you may wish to have a more thorough survey done. You can opt for the mortgage lender to do this for an extra cost, however many buyers prefer to have an independent survey done for peace of mind.
